Arsenal are set to get a shock injury boost…
Arsenal could finally be handed some good news regarding an injury, with midfielder Aaron Ramsey set to hand his team a huge boost by returning to the squad ahead of schedule.
Reports on Goal.com even claim the Welshman could be included as part of the match-day squad for the Gunners clash with Hull City on Saturday evening, having taken part in full training on Friday.
Ramsey had initially been told he would be out for between six and eight weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in the Gunners’ 1-1 draw with Tottenham at the end of September. But he has fully recovered after the injury proved less serious than originally thought.
Arsene Wenger is now considering fast-tracking him back into action to deal with his current injury crisis. The Frenchman is even open to the possibility of selecting Ramsey in his starting XI.
That comes despite him stating in Thursday’s pre-match press conference that next Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Anderlecht was the earliest the Welshman could appear again.
Ramsey has thus far missed the club’s games against Galatasaray and Chelsea as well as Wales’ two fixtures Euro 2016 qualifiers.
