Arsenal youngster Dan Crowley scored a great hat-trick against Anderlecht, but Arsenal still lost 4-3.
Dan Crowley lived up to the hype once again in last night’s 2014–15 UEFA Youth League game against Anderlecht. The youngster scored a hat-trick, but it wasn’t enough to earn Arsenal even a point.
After dancing between defenders and firing a shot across his body for the first, Crowley took advantage of a defensive mistake to poke home a second.
The former Aston Villa youngster was brought down late on, and put away the penalty to complete his hat-trick and make it 4-3.
But the Belgian side held onto their lead to reinforce their county’s reputation for quality youth.
