The erratic winger, who turned 28 on Monday, is currently playing at Old Trafford for Portugal in their friendly against Argentina, and took his parent club’s record signing Angel Di Maria out with a terrible challenge early into the game.
We’re sure it’s coincidence that Nani became surplus to requirements upon Di Maria’s arrival in Manchester, but regardless, this was a very late and poor tackle that arguably deserved further punishment from the referee.
