The German tactician is one of the most sought-after coaches in the world at the moment after his fine work with Dortmund, with whom he has won two Bundesliga titles and reached the final of the Champions League on a shoestring budget.

Klopp is in no hurry to leave his current club, but has strongly hinted that he would be open to a switch to England after admitting that is the only other place in the world he would want to work.

With both Arsenal and Liverpool struggling at the moment, the futures of Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers could be in some doubt, and the possible availability of Klopp will no doubt turn their heads.

The Gunners have had a poor start to the season, and two consecutive defeats to Swansea City and Manchester United see them languishing in 8th in the Premier League table, while the Reds have also been poor and currently sit as low as 11th place.
