The 21-year-old has struggled to get in to the first team since the signing of fellow forward Danny Welbeck in the summer. The ability of other new signing Alexis Sanchez to play up front also hasn’t helped.
Arsene Wenger is thinking of letting the Frenchman go in order to get him more game time. Palace are in need of a striker, and so could be interested in the Gunners’ man.
Aston Villa and Sunderland are also thought to be monitoring developments. However, the North London club could still keep the youngster, even though they currently have a plethora of attacking players to choose from.
Wenger will need all hands on deck if his team are to recover from yet another poor performance away from home against a big team in their 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday. Whether Sanogo is a part of these recovery plans will be decided in January.
