The North London side have made a £31.4m bid for the 20 year old Argentine according to this source, which sounds fairly far-fetched.

Whilst Arsene Wenger may have changed his policy with regards to splashing the cash, the big money additions of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez being prime examples of this, the idea that the Gunners boss would offer such a sum for a player with less than 30 Serie A starts to his name is fairly absurd.

Whilst it’s true Dybala appears a great prospect there is simply little chance Wenger would risk such a fee on an unproven talent.

The attacker has racked up seven goals and six assists in 16 Serie A appearances this term, a very good return, and would do well to leave Palermo to help develop as a player.

The fact that the sum mentioned by this source is still some way below Palermo’s valuation of the youngster goes some way to showing how highly they rate the player so any move may be a year or two down the road.
