The Spanish giants are in need of strengthening in two key areas at the moment, despite being in unstoppable form for so much of this season in all competitions.
The two clubs did business this summer when Angel Di Maria made the move from the Bernabeu to Old Trafford in a British record £59.7m deal, while Mexican striker Javier Hernandez moved in the other direction on a season-long loan deal.
Real now want to raid United again, it has emerged, with these two big names on the club’s agenda for the near future:
It has been claimed that Real Madrid would demand the signing of United goalkeeper David de Gea in any potential deal between the two clubs. With Iker Casillas past his best, the Spanish shot-stopper, formerly of local rivals Atletico Madrid, would be an ideal long-term replacement between the sticks.
