Reports in Spain say big money move will happen today.
Journalists from Spanish news source Cadena Ser have claimed Arsenal will sign €20 million Villarreal centre back Gabriel Paulista later today.

The Daily Telegraph have previously stated the Gunners were in talks with the La Liga club over a potential deal for the Brazilian but that the two clubs were wide of the mark in terms of valuations and that Arsenal were concerned if a work permit would be granted.
However, Cadena Ser reporter Xavi Sidiro has said that on one of the Radio station’s shows it was confirmed that the Brazilian will be on his way to Arsenal in a €20 million deal.

This news was also confirmed by the Twitter account of the show in question: “El Larguero” who said journalist Jose Ramón de la Morena had said Villarreal would sell him to the Gunners.

Strangely, despite the tweets from Cadena Ser affiliated accounts there has been no confirmation of the news on their official website or from de la Morena himself.
However, even if a deal were in motion or completed, it still remains unclear whether Paulista would be granted UK work permit as he is yet to play any international matches for Brazil.
