The 27 year old is a regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s side and has been in fine form over the past 18 months and as such speculating linking the former Lyon man with a move away from the Spanish giants is a little hard to fathom.
Whilst Benzema is perhaps not as prolific as some would expect it is worth noting that the French international offers more than just a goal threat.
This term Benzema has racked up 15 goals in all competitions this term but is also a key provider of assists, only Cristiano Ronaldo has provided more in that regard in Real Madrid’s squad this season.
PSG, Arsenal and Liverpool are also said to be tempted by a possible move for Benzema though Louis van Gaal will look to see off the competition in pursuit of the Bernabeu star.
Real Madrid value Benzema at £40m and if van Gaal opts against converting the loan signing of Radamel Falcao into a permanent one then perhaps it would be in order to make an offer for the La Liga ace?
