These reports filtered through to England with Matt Law from the Telegraph echoing the statements, claiming that the deal is “practically done”.
Rumours picked up pace in recent days as it became evident that Chelsea were actively attempting to sell Mohamed Salah and Andre Schurrle in a bid to fund the move for Cuadrado.
Fiorentina were diligent in their demands that his £26.1 million buyout clause had to be met and it seems that their demands have been fulfilled, with reports from Italy also suggesting that Salah maybe heading in the opposite direction.
