The mother of the 15-year-old girl who allegedly had sex with Sunderland winger Adam Johnson has spoken out.

Johnson was arrested on Monday on suspicion of having sex with an underage girl.
The identity of the girl cannot be revealed for legal reasons, but her mother has been quoted in the Daily Mirror.
“My priority is my daughter, I don’t want to say anything else,” she said.
Johnson, who has been bailed since his arrest, is currently suspended by Sunderland.
Sunderland fans sang his name during last night’s 1-1 draw at Hull City.
