Pedro Puts Arsenal And Liverpool On Red Alert After Admitting He Could Move This Summer

A member of Barcelona’s technical committee, Charly Rexach, insists that the La Liga giants have no intention of selling such an important player, saying, “He has prominence here. He is very important at Barca. I do not see Pedro away from Barca,” he told Spanish TV network Esport3.

The 27-year-old is wanted by Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, and reports have claimed that Brendan Rodgers put in an £18m bid for the Spaniard in January.

With Pedro’s contract due to expire in the summer of 2016, a transfer at the end of the season is certainly a possibility – especially if they want to recoup some of the £75m spent on latest blockbuster signing Luis Suarez.

However given the fact that Barcelona are banned from signing players in 2015 it would be something of a risk for the Catalan club to consider such a sale.
