Sanchez, who has been in blistering form since joining the Gunners in the summer from Barcelona, netting 18 times and registering 8 assists in his debut season in England, is seemingly settling with ease in North London, both on and off the pitch.

Arsenal fans have been left disappointed by Arsene Wenger’s transfer policy – losing a number of world-class players, such as Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie, and not replacing them with equal talent – but the Chilean has, at last, brought some real excitement to the Emirates Stadium.

While his performances have dipped slightly in the second-half of the season, the £35m signing is loving life in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old discusses his joy at playing in the country where football was invented, saying: “I’m well adapted to the country and the league now. I must keep on learning, though,” as quoted by the Mirror.

“I want to expand my knowledge of English football in general, and Arsenal and my team-mates in particular.

He continued: “But overall I love this league. At the end of the day, football was invented in this country, right?

“I live where football was invented. That makes me really happy.”
