The Colombia international’s future is the subject of intense speculation, as the Mirror reported that the Red Devils have decided against signing the forward on a permanent deal, leaving his signature up for grabs.

Falcao has been linked to a move to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in recent seasons, with the colossal price of securing his services said to be the chief reason Real did not follow through with their interest last summer, ahead of Man United, according to club president Florentino Perez (via the Express).

It certainly seems to have been a wise choice by the La Liga giants, with the 29-year-old registering just four Premier League goals – which has come at a huge price of over £25m for just one season’s service at Old Trafford, as reported by the Sunday Times.

Interestingly, Falcao followed Real Madrid on Twitter, only to quickly unfollow, but not before social media users were able to grab a quick screenshot – prompting the transfer grapevine to suggest a move to Carlo Ancelotti’s side may be on.
