(Image) Liverpool’s defeat against Arsenal exaggerated due to technical error

Liverpool suffered a resounding defeat against rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday in what was mostly a one-sided affair with the Gunners running out as 4-1 winners.

However, Sky Sports may have been watching a different game, putting the score-line down as a 34-1 defeat for the Reds and in fairness to whoever made that error, it felt like the game was indeed that one-sided.

Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez put Arsene Wenger’s side 3-0 up at half-time with Liverpool not knowing what had hit them; a sensational eight-minute period from the hosts.

For Liverpool, their Champions League hopes are all but over, this result leaving them nine points behind Arsenal and eight adrift of Man United who occupy fourth place.

Arsenal have now been tipped as Chelsea’s main title challengers and are certainly the best team in the league on current form.
