Spanish giants join chase for Serie A hit-man.
Real Madrid look set to step up their interest in signing Inter Milan starlet Mauro Icardi ahead of Chelsea, in a possible move to replace Karim Benzema.
The Spanish giants are the latest club to show an interest in the talented Argentine striker, who scored 27 goals in all competitions last season to establish himself as one of the most promising forwards in Europe.
There’s no doubt Icardi could succeed at a bigger club, and Fichajes.net now reports that Real are considering a move for the 22-year-old in January.

With Benzema linked strongly with Arsenal throughout the summer, it may be that a move for Icardi would allow the Gunners to finally land their man in the middle of the season.
