Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic will reportedly do anything to ensure his side beat Manchester United to the signature of Barcelona megastar Neymar and will apparently make any sacrifice to bring him to the club, according to the Metro.
The Brazilian international has been in sensational form for the La Liga giants this season, bagging an impressive 13 goals in 14 games across all competitions, but is rumoured to be considering an exit from the club due to an ongoing tax evasion case against him.
And now according to Spanish publication Don Balon, Chelsea have emerged as just one of four reported clubs tracking his situation in Spain as they are desperate to make a marquee signing of his calibre.
Following a nightmare start to the campaign, Russian owner Abramovic is hoping that breaking out the chequebook will prove enough to solve the club’s problems, and Neymar’s situation in Spain has made him a prime target.
Paris St Germain, Manchester City and Manchester United are believed to be the other clubs keeping tabs on the situation.
