Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up a triple raid on Champions League opponents Paris Saint Germain for striker Edinson Cavani, midfielder Marco Verratti and full-back Gregory van der Weil, according to French publication Buzzsport.
The Blues are gearing up to meet the French champions in February for the third year running in the Champions League, and are reported to be looking to weaken their opponents considerably during the January transfer window.
The report claims that the Blues want Verratti as he would be an improvement on the out of form Cesc Fabregas, while their problems up front have led them to take a closer look at Cavani.
Elsewhere, their long standing admiration for van der Weil could come to a head and lead them to finally making a play for his signature.
However, whether the two clubs will agree to do business remains to be seen, especially given that they are due to do battle once again.
