Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has admitted that his future is up in the air as he comes towards the end of his current deal.
The playmaker left Tottenham Hotspur to sign for the Tigers three years ago in a £5 million deal. However, while he initially shone at the KC Stadium, he came in for criticism during his second season at the club as Steve Bruce’s outfit dropped out of the top flight.
He’s struggled to impress in the Championship, making just 13 starts this term, and his fall from grace appears to be complete, with the Mirror describing that the technically proficient star has been ‘frozen out’ by the Humberside club.
While Hull appear to be doing well without him—and currently sit atop the Championship, one point clear of Middlesbrough—Huddlestone appears keen to understand what the future holds.
“I’m out of contract and nothing’s been offered yet so I’m not sure what will happen come the summer. I guess I’m open to anything really because it’s all up in the air at the minute,” the 29-year-old began, as per the Mirror.
“I’m 29 and I don’t want to be out of contract trying to find a new club. I’ve not spoken to the gaffer about it, but I haven’t played as much as I would have liked or expected to.

“I’ll speak to my agent in the next few weeks and hopefully Hull will have come up with something by then.”
Huddlestone spent time with both Nottingham Forest and Derby County as a youth player, before moving to Spurs in 2005.
