One of Bundesliga’s best young stars could be following Ilkay Gundogan to Manchester City as winger Leroy Sane is poised for a switch from Schalke 04.
According to Transfer Tavern via The Sun, Leroy Sane is close to agreeing to a deal with Manchester City, which would make him the second major signing of Pep Guardiola’s tenure at Etihad Stadium.
Per the source, the deal is worth approximately £40 million.
Sane had a breakout season for Schalke 04 this past year, scoring eight goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances.
