Chelsea star Eden Hazard appears to have taken a sly dig at this former manager Jose Mourinho during an interview with the Spanish outlet AS (via The Sun).
Per-the-source, Hazard had a frosty relationship with Mourinho during the Portuguese tactician’s final season at the club.
Hazard ended up losing form as Chelsea succumbed to a 10th place finish in the Premier League.
However, things are looking up at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Antonio Conte. The former Italy manager is yet to lose in the league.
Hazard also looks to be back to his best after scoring two goals in his opening four games.
The Belgium international was asked about his improved form and according to the Sun, Hazard included a dig at Manchester United boss Mourinho.
“We give everything for him,” Hazard was quoted as saying by the Sun.
“I’m still the same player. Conte is giving us confidence after a poor season.
“Conte knows footballers, because he was once a footballer”
Chelsea take on Swansea City this weekend and Hazard is expected to start for the Blues ones again.
