Arsenal vs Chelsea – Confirmed lineups – Wenger drops in-form Granit Xhaka

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has decided to drop Granit Xhaka back to the bench despite the Switzerland international scoring back-t0-back goals for the Gunners.

The French tactician has opted to stick with the midfield duo of Coquelin and Santi Cazorla, who have been present for Arsenal’s wins over Southampton and Hull city.

The north London based side will be looking to record their first Premier League win over Chelsea in five years. Wenger’s side have also failed to score against Chelsea in their last six league encounters.

Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has returned to the Gunners starting line-up after being rested during the week.

Chelsea’s impressive start to the season under Antonio Conte came to an abrupt end last week following a a defeat to Liverpool last week. The Blues did however, defeat Leicester City in the League Cup during the week.
