As expected, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was a hit on Monday Night Football, with the majority of supporters thoroughly enjoying his appearance on the programme.
The German tactician covered various topics, but amongst them was his opinion on the Premier League title betting odds which currently place his side as second favourites.
However, he didn’t seem too interested in that and dismissed them almost immediately, preferring to focus on the fact that there is a positive atmosphere at the club currently and that he believes it’s a good sign for the rest of the season.

Further, he also discussed his side’s performances so far this season, and picked out one positive in particular about the progress that they’ve made.
Liverpool currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League table, having picked up 13 points from their six games so far this season.
Although there was a setback along the way against Burnley, they’ve impressed in recent outings and Klopp has put it down to a desire to learn and understand his methods while striving to improve.
Provided that the players can add consistency to their game and fully take on board Klopp’s ideas, then perhaps the former Borussia Dortmund boss won’t be able to be so dismissive of title talk moving forward as his side look capable of competing at the top of the table this year.
