Dele Alli got on the scoresheet in England’s 2-0 win over Malta on Saturday, but he was also guilty of a glaring miss in the game too and his Tottenham teammate hasn’t let him off the hook.
As seen in the video below, Alli sent his effort flying over the bar when it looked easier to finish, and he’ll undoubtedly be disappointed not to have had two goals to show for his efforts this weekend.

Eric Dier wasn’t about to let him get away with it either, as while referring to a video tweeted out by the FA earlier this week which showed Alli nutmegging him, he questioned how his Spurs teammate was able to do that but produce such a bad miss.
The pair are evidently good mates off the pitch too and have exchanged some light-hearted digs at one another on social media in the past, but this round definitely belongs to Dier.
