Liverpool manager Jurgen Kloppp has been awarded the Barclays Manager of the Month award for an impressive run of results over the month of September.
Klopp guided the Reds to three consecutive wins in the league over the course of the month which started with a 4-1 win over reigning champions Leicester City following by a 5-1 win over Hull City and a 2-1 win over Chelsea – during which Jordan Henderson ended up scoring the Carling Goal of the Month.
Liverpool shared a clip of Klopp’s reaction to winning the award on the official club twitter account. The German manager revealed that he is not too bothered about personal prizes but admitted he was still pleased to have won the award.
