Antonio Conte’s side were already leading when Eden Hazard raced onto Marcos Alonso’s lofted ball late in the game, but it was his goal that very much sealed the victory for his side.
It was a win that visibly meant a great deal to both the players and the fans. New fan footage of Hazard’s goal has emerged, and the Etihad upper tier absolutely erupted when the ball hit the back of Claudio Bravo’s net.
