Arsenal have taken the lead in their Champions League group A clash with Basel this evening through Lucas Perez.

Perez’s only previous goals since joining Arsenal in the summer came against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup; he’s just added another to his tally.

Kieran Gibbs played a dangerous ball into the middle of the Basel penalty area which found Perez, who kept a cool head to take a couple of touches of the ball to set himself before finding the back of the net.
