In the flurry of big money signings at Old Trafford over the last few years, one of the medium sized ones has been almost entirely forgotten.
Morgan Schneiderlin was one of the Premier League’s most in demand players after several exceptional seasons at Southampton, and most people thought he would be a great signing for a Red Devils team that lacked strength in the middle of the park.
But it hasn’t proved that be that way, and the Frenchman is an almost forgotten man at Old Trafford. Now the Sun has linked him with a potential move to Everton, where he could link up with former Southampton boss Ronald Koeman.
The paper claims that United will look to recoup the majority of Schneiderlin’s £25m price tag, although that looks unlikely given how few minutes the 27 year olds is getting on the pitch. A deal closer to £20m would still be an impressive return for United given how disastrous the signing has been overall.
