Chelsea stars David Luiz and Eden Hazard could miss their side’s upcoming game against Arsenal with niggling injuries, according to The Sun.
Both Luiz and Hazard have been in fine form so far this campaign. Luiz, often criticised for his inadequate defending, has scarcely put a foot wrong his his return to Stamford Bridge. Hazard has been reinvigorated since Antonio Conte took the reigns at Chelsea in the summer, and has re-established himself as one of the Premier League’s best players.
However, the Blues could be without both of them for their vital clash with title rivals Arsenal this weekend. As per The Sun, Luiz has been struggling with a knee injury for a number of weeks, while Hazard is having trouble with a hamstring strain.
The prospect of being without both of them when Chelsea face the Gunners will undoubtedly be keeping Conte up at night. It remains to be seen whether either will recover in time to start.
