The news that Argentine left-back Emiliano Insúa has signed a new three-year contract with Liverpool isn’t likely to send the Kop, currently contemplating mouthwatering signings like, er, Gareth Barry and Robbie Keane, into raptures. Still, it seems manager Rafa Benitez is keen to secure the continued services of the promising under-20 international.
