Ronaldinho has already been marked as the black sheep at FC Barcelona and it appears that Deco is fast following in the Brazilian’s footsteps. The player has been mysteriously left out of Barca’s games in La Liga of late and the Spanish press speculates that all this is an indication that Deco too in an unwanted entity at Camp Nou.
Sky Sports reports that the Portuguese international himself is not certain about his future. Of course Deco is staying at the Camp Nou cathedral until the end of the season but as the players himself admits, things may change after that.
I do not want to speak about my future because I have a contract (until 2010), but some things are changing. Right now I do not want to think about this because we are playing for the league and have many things to win. At the end of the season I will decide upon my future. Football has changed a lot and the good and the bad come and go very quickly. With so much news every day there are too many people talking about the game. In the end though, it is the fans that count and I have to thank them for being great.
So it appears tat top draw layers are increasingly on the lookout of Barcelona. So is the Catalan club disintegrating and do they require a major facelift in the summer? Well, maybe but the current turmoil that Barca are in at the moment is certainly being relished by those in Madrid.
