Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has a problem on his hands: The number of transfer being linked with his club continues to grow at a feverish rate; yet at the same time the number of players leaving the club is exactly ZERO.
The goateed-one would like to see some new talent at the club, but until he moves the likes of Alonso, Crouch, Riise and others, the rumours will continue to be just that: rumours.
The Mirror is reporting that the club is most likely going to make their first move of the season by offloading £6.7m winger Jermaine Pennant to the highest bidder.

If the club is really serious about Milner, then maybe a swap with Newcastle would be the best option. But considering Rafa’s need for a bigger transfer budget, he might want to consider moving him to another club that would pay for his services.
Are Liverpool supporters sad to hear that Pennant is one his way out? Or do you think it’s time to bring on a new winger with a bit more consistency and class?
