Tottenham may have turned the proverbial corner after the appointment of Harry Redknapp and a 2-0 win against Bolton. However, while they’re still bottom of the league, it’s clear that plenty of people are having a laugh at their expense, including this Arsenal player who should really know better.
The Sun reports that Cesc Fabregas has been impressed by the achievements of Arsenal ladies, and goes as far as to claim they would be capable of landing a draw with Spurs! Will those words come back to haunt him by the final whistle this evening?
He told lads’ mag Loaded that Vic Akers’ all-conquering women’s side would give the White Hart Lane men a tough game.

While the talented Spaniard is just having a little joke, it appears as though one or two of the Arsenal players are being a little big for their boots ahead of a derby match where anything can happen.
