West Brom striker reveals Chelsea defender’s dirty tricks!

The Blues cruised to a 3-0 victory at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening, looking every inch as though they were Premier League champions-elect. However, one of the West Brom players wasn’t best pleased with the Chelsea captain, claiming that he was hurt deliberately by his ‘mad’ opposite number.

Sky Sports reports that Roman Bednar has spat his dummy with regard to the way John Terry fouled him last weekend. According to the Czech striker, the Blues skipper hauled him down and delivered a headbutt to the midriff, something that the arbiter failed to spot.

“We were caught up in each other. When he was falling down he deliberately put his hands there to make it painful for me,” Bednar told MF DNES.

“I tried to respond, but he gave gave me a header into my belly. It was not fair from him, he was then like mad.

“Moreover, the referee was of the opinion that it was me who fouled.”

Roman is obviously naive if he thinks that a referee is going to favour him over the Chelsea and England captain, with the man in the middle making the correct decision in favour of the loveable centre half. Terry has been around long enough to know how free-kicks are won, and if the Baggies striker isn’t savvy enough to play him at his own game, then more the fool him. Does anyone agree with Bednar that JT is mad or can you think of a better way to describe him?
