Arsenal are reportedly keen on Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo according to Spanish source AS.
The North London club are monitoring the 18 year old who has been likened to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. The wiry wide-man has impressed since breaking into the Real Betis first team.
Barcelona and AC Milan have also been tracking the youngster’s development following his promotion from Real Betis B to the La Liga side’s first team set-up.
The speedy attacker has a bright future and Betis boss Pepe Mel could have a fight on his hands to keep the Spanish starlet.
Arsenal may well have noted Vadillo’s talent whilst keeping tabs on young Gunners striker Joel Campbell, who is on a season long loan spell at Andalusian side.
Though Arsene Wenger has a host of wide attacking options, from the experienced; Lukas Podoslski and Gervinho, to the youthful; Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott, to the up and coming Ryo Miyaichi, the Arsenal boss may well feel that Vadillo is a player with potential he can harness.
The Betis starlet is already a regular in the Spanish Under 20 international set-up.
