Florent Malouda

French international Florent Malouda has been left to train with the reserves and youth team all season after being left out of the club’s 25-man Premier League squad. And he will officially leave Chelsea at the end of the season when his contract expires.

The 32-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Lyon in a £13.5million deal in 2007, helped the club lift the Champions League last season under Roberto Di Matteo, but was made an outcast after refusing to sign a new contract.

He has not trained with the first-team all season and has not played a competitive game in his final 12 months at Stamford Bridge. Anzhi Makhachkala are expected to make a move to sign Malouda on a free transfer.

Isco (Malaga)

Spanish midfielder Isco was a strong target for Chelsea in the January transfer window, but he opted instead to sign a new contract with Malaga. In reality though, what that exercise was all about was getting the release clause in the young playmaker’s contract increase to maximise his value.

Isco is likely to leave Malaga in the summer and Chelsea should be targeting beating Barcelona and Real Madrid to his signature with both Spanish giants having expressed interest in one of the most talented youngsters in La Liga.

His new contract means that the transfer fee to activate his release clause now stands at £31million, but for that price you would be getting one of Europe’s most impressive midfield talents and one who has unlimited potential too. He is likely to follow Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini to Chelsea.
