German youngster tempted by move to Spanish giants.
Schalke’s Julian Draxler has admitted that it would be a dream come true to move to Real Madrid, according to Sky Sports.
The German youngster has been in fine form for the Bundesliga giants and has put in a number of impressive performances.
That has not gone unnoticed however as a string of top European sides are reportedly following the player’s progress.
The likes of Manchester United, AC Milan and Inter Milan have all been linked with a move for the player in recent weeks with Real Madrid the latest side thought to be showing an interest.
The 19 year old has admitted that he is flattered by reports linking him to the La Liga giants and stated that he would be keen to make a move to the Spanish capital.
‘I’ve always said that I would like to play in Spain. Every weekend I try to see the matches involving Madrid and Barcelona. I never miss the Clasicos’, said Draxler.
The highly rated youngster went on to reveal that he is keen to keep focusing on finishing the season with Schalke between now and the end of the season.
Draxler has another three years to run on his contract with Schalke and the club’s manager Horst Heldt has previously stated his belief that he can persuade the youngster to stay provided they continue to qualify for the Champions League.
