Sunderland are reportedly interested in signing Fenerbahce winger Milos Krasic, according to talkSPORT.

The Serbian international joined the Turkish giants from Juventus last summer in a £7 million but has struggled to settle into his new surroundings, bagging just one goal in 27 appearances this season.

However, that hash’t thought to have knocked Sunderland’s interest and boss Paolo Di Canio is said to be fan and will line him up as a potential new signing this summer.

Krasic’s agent, Dejan Joksimovic, confirmed that there was interest in his client and that he could be on the move over the coming months.

Joksimovic said: “Milos needs to play, he’s not getting that chance at Fenerbahce.

“Krasic has had offers from the Premier League and we will be considering a move.

“Milos and his wife are happy in Istanbul however, he also needs to be happy at work.

“He’s on high wages at Fenerbahce and still has three years on his contract. Milos hasn’t played a full 90 minutes once, he’s a great player and just 28 years old, there are only 3-4 players on his level in his preferred position.”

The 28-year-old helped the Fenerbahce to win the Turkish cup this season, as well as the Serie A title the year before in Italy.
