St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang  has revealed he hopes to secure a return to AC Milan this summer according to Goal.com.

The Gabon forward left the club eighteen months ago to sign for the Ligue 1 side. He has since gone on to become one of the most sought after strikers in Europe after a highly impressive season for the French side.

Aubameyang is widely expected to leave St Etienne this summer with a number of top European sides all thought to be monitoring his availability.

The likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal are all thought to be preparing summer bids for the player dubbed the African Neymar on account of his trademark Mohawk hairstyle and clinical finishing.

Aubameyang revealed he still has a soft spot for AC Milan and would relish the opportunity to return to the club. The 23 year old feels he was naïve to leave the club so early and regrets not staying and proving himself at the San Siro.

PSG are thought to be leading the race to sign Aubameyang but the player has revealed he would prefer not to move to one of St Etienne’s Ligue 1 rivals. It is thought a bid in the region of £12 million would be enough to secure the striker’s services.
