The German stars move to Chelsea could be off as Kevin De Bruyne doesn’t want move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Andre Schurrle’s move to Chelsea could be off as the player involved in the swap deal, Kevin De Bruyne, doesn’t want to move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Sky Sports reports that De Bruyne instead wants to move to Leverkusen’s German rivals, Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund’s Director of Sport, Michael Zorc, has claimed that the Belgian wants to play for Dortmund next year and not be involved in a sway deal with Bayer Leverkusen.
“De Bruyne only wants to come to us,” said Zorc
This has jeopardised Andre Schurrle’s move to Chelsea even though it is reported that Schurrle has already agreed terms with Chelsea.
Dortmund are keen to sign the 21 year old Belgian on a permanent basis, although Chelsea are reluctant to sell him and would prefer to loan him out.
This would interest Leverkusen more than Dortmund.
The Schurrle transfer has been thought of by many to be a formality, with both player and club keen to agree terms.
It remains to be seen whether De Bruyne’s reluctance to move to Leverkusen will mean the end of the transfer or whether the two clubs can come to another arrangement.
