Nani- Manchester United to Monaco
The Portuguese winger has been a frustrating figure at Old Trafford ever since he signed for Manchester United in 2007. While there have been a few brilliant moments from Nani, there have also been many moments of frustration. The winger has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot at United, due to poor form and injury and his career with the Premier League champions may now be up with David Moyes becoming the clubs new manager.
Moyes is keen to make room in his squad for new signings and sees Nani as surplus to requirements, especially as the winger only has one year left on his current contract at Old Trafford. It appears that AS Monaco are interested in signing Nani and are willing to pay United’s £8 million asking price. The French club have already spent big this summer as they try and become a force again in French football and it looks like Nani will become their latest recruit. The winger would almost certainly get first team football at Monaco and might be able to hold down a first team slot and then show fans his true colours.
