QPR boss Harry Redknapp has said that both Julio Cesar and Adel Taarabt won’t be allowed to leave the club on loan this summer, Sky Sports reports.

Cesar has been linked with a loan move to Napoli while reports suggest that Taarabt could move to newly promoted Hull City on loan.

However, Redknapp has told interested clubs that they will have to make a cash offer for the players or forget signing them at all.

He said of Cesar: “I can’t see the sense in loaning him for a year. He’s got three years left on his contract, he’s just played for Brazil in the Confederations Cup and been absolutely fantastic”.

On Taarabt, he said: “There’s talk about him going to Hull on loan. What’s the good in that? If he wants to go, let somebody come and pay the money for him”.

The news that QPR will only accept a cash offer for Cesar will bring Arsenal back into the race to sign the Brazilian goalkeeper.

The Gunners have been linked with Cesar for most of the summer and reports suggest that they were preparing to pay £1.5 million for the goalkeeper before speculation mounted that Cesar would be moving to Napoli on loan.

Arsenal may now make their bid for Cesar and the goalkeeper is reportedly interested in moving to the Gunners as he would like to stay in London.
