AC Milan midfielder keen on playing in German leagues.
AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed his desire to play in the Bundesliga according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Ghanaian midfielder has played in Germany previously, starting off his career at Hertha BSC between 2004 and 2007.
His performances there saw him touted as a hot prospect for the future and led to a move to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
But Boateng found his first team chances at White Hart Lane limited, prompting a loan spell to Dortmund to 2009.
Boateng has fond memories of his time in Germany and has revealed he could be tempted by a return.
The Bundesliga is currently enjoying somewhat of a resurgence after Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich battled it out in the final of last season’s Champions League.
The Bavarians ran out winners that night, while they also raised a few eyebrows by reportedly beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City to the appointment of former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola.
Contrastingly, the Italian league has struggled in recent seasons, evidence by Juventus’ performances in last season’s Champions League.
The Old Lady have dominated Serie A over the last eighteen months but failed to put up much of a fight against a strong Bayern Munich team.
