Following the recent departure of Spanish international Roberto Soldado [who joined Spurs for £26million], Valencia are now looking to bring in a new striker to strengthen their attacking options with two Chelsea strikers [Demba Ba and Romelu Lukaku] catching their eye – but only on temporary loan deals according to the Daily Mail.

It is believed the Spanish club did originally want Fernando Torres but after a long process of discussion within the club, they opted against signing the forward – instead opting to move for one of his team mates. A clincher for the deal that they hope is young Blues midfielder Oriol Romeu being out on loan with the Liga BBVA side – as Valencia hope he will be able to persuade one of his team mates to move across Europe to his new employers.

Chelsea themselves look keen to force out one of their strikers due to their plans to land Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, amid interest from bitter London rivals Arsenal. It
is thought the Gunners had turned their attention from Liverpool forward Luis Suarez to Wayne due to the hefty price tag the Reds demanded for the Uruguayan.

Where Rooney will spend next season is still unclear with new stories about him and Suarez being printed every day as the speculation grows. Valencia hope to capitalise on all the commotion and hope to bring Demba Ba or Romelu Lukaku to Spain without much competition although Mourinho may be reluctant to allow anyone to leave until a new arrival is announced.
