Argentine winger could move to Old Trafford if Bale arrives at Madrid.
Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria is thought to be considering his future at the club in the wake of the Gareth Bale transfer saga according to The Daily Star.
The Argentine midfielder has reportedly been annoyed by the club’s pursuit of Tottenham’s Gareth Bale and is ready to leave the club should the Welsh star arrive in the Spanish capital.
It is thought that Real had proposed a potential deal for Bale involving Di Maria in part-exchange but it is understood that proposal was rejected by both Di Maria and Spurs.
But the 25 year old refuses to sit on the bench should Bale arrive as he is keen to book his place in the Argentina first team ahead of next summer’s World Cup finals tournament in Brazil.
That could pave the way for a move to Manchester United with the Premier League champions reportedly taking an interest in his signature.
A move could also satisfy new Manchester United manager David Moyes’ ambitions to bring in a big name signing this summer after he found himself frustrated in his attempts to sign Cesc Fabregas and Thiago Alcantara.
Wealthy French side PSG are also thought to be monitoring Di Maria’s availability.
