Selhurst Park side keen on Loftus Road midfielder.
Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway has set his sights on a number of potential summer additions as he seeks to strengthen his Eagles squad according to the Daily Mail.
Chief among Holloway’s targets is QPR midfielder Joey Barton, who has impressed since returning to the West London club following a moderately successful loan spell at Marseille last term.
The 30 year old is valued at around £3m by this source and that may well be a fair price to pay for a player who could add some much needed top tier experience to the Selhurst Park side though one wonders if Barton might elect to remain at QPR following their impressive start to the Championship campaign, during which the West London club have collected ten points from their opening four fixtures of the season.
Holloway is also targeting a new striker and has been linked with interest in Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner and West Brom outcast Peter Odemwingies, both of whom could well do with re-igniting their careers having stuttered along over the past year at their respective clubs.
Palace have falled to narrow defeats in their opening two Premier League fixtures against Tottenham and Stoke City.
