Arsenal and Spurs target also wanted by big-spending PSG.
Arsenal and Tottenham could face competition from big-spending PSG as they look to sign want-away Lazio star Hernanes this January, according to the Daily Star.
The Brazilian midfielder has been one of the most impressive performers in Serie A over the last couple of seasons, and was also linked with a move away from the club during the summer.
However, Hernanes now seems set to depart the Stadio Olimpico in January after failing to agree on a new contract with the Roman club, and his potential availability has put several top sides on alert.
Arsenal and Spurs are his main admirers in the Premier League, and though neither side are in dire need of new midfielders of his type, they are keen not to let an opportunity to sign the skillful midfielder pass them by.
But with PSG also monitoring his situation, the north London pair may be priced out of a move, with the Ligue 1 champions able to pay vast amounts of money to land their top targets.
Laurent Blanc’s side have brought in big names such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani in recent years, and were hoping to sign Yohan Cabaye of Newcastle during the summer, before switching their attention to Hernanes.
