The source claims that comments made by the youngster’s agent amount to a ‘come and get me’ plea that has increased the chances of David Moyes landing the Brazilian international.
The 21 year old former Santos man was strongly linked with a move to Man United prior to his £37m move to PSG but has found first team chances limited this term.
Parc des Princes boss Laurent Blanc has handed Moura just nine Ligue 1 starts this term, with another nine appearances coming the bench, and this has led to growing speculation that the speedy attacker is not happy with life in the French capital, speculation that will only have increased after these statements from agent Wagner Ribiero;
‘Lucas is not playing as much as we have hoped, that is true,’
‘But it’s not part of our plans to leave PSG now. He has had some chances in the team, and we will look at the situation again at the end of the season.’
Moyes’s interest in a winger purchase is hardly surprising given the poor form shown by Luis Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Nani this term.
Man United would presumably have to fork out a sum around the same level as that paid by PSG in order to tempt the big spending French champions into a sale.
