Chelsea will look to offload Fernando Torres and Romelu Lukaku this summer with interest in the duo apparently plentiful according to the Sunday Mirror.

Singapore billionaire Peter Lim is looking to takeover La Liga side Valencia and has set his sights on 29 year old Blues forward Torres.

Lim is ready to meet Chelsea’s £13m price-tag, some way below the £50m they paid for the former Liverpool man three year ago, and a move back to Spain may tempt Torres.

The West London side are also looking to find a buyer for Belgian ace Lukaku, with offers of £22m sought by the Stamford Bridge club.

There should be no shortage of interest in the 20 year old forward, who has more than proven himself at Premier League level during successful spells at West Brom and Everton.

Jose Mourinho is looking to bring in a prolific forward this summer having seen his current crop consistently fail to deliver. Indeed Chelsea’s crop of strikers; Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o, have scored just 11 of the club’s 48 Premier League goals this season.

The Chelsea manager will look to use funds accrued from striker sales to help fund a big money move for PSG forward Edinson Cavani, who is no Mourinho’s number one summer transfer target.

Cavani has had an excellent season thus far, scoring 20 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side.
