Arsenal are set to face some serious competition from Serie A giants Inter Milan for the signature of Benfica striker Rodrigo this summer, according to Football Direct News.

The Spanish striker has reportedly caught the attention of new Inter chief Erick Thohir, who is said to be willing to sanction a big money move for the player to help get the club back amongst the elite in Italy, and he will now join Arsene Wenger in line for his signature.
However, Arsenal and Inter are no longer the only two interested in snatching up his services as both Atletico Madrid and Zenit St Petersburg are also said to be keeping a close eye on his form this season.
The 22-year-old is no stranger to English football either, having spent a year on loan with Bolton Wanderers during the 2010/11 season. But his time in the Northwest wasn’t the most productive and he managed to find the net just once in 17 appearances, though only four of those games were starts.
Wenger is keen to add some fresh options to his front line after having only Olivier Giroud at his disposal for the majority of the campaign.
